Image
YOU WANNA MAKE A BROCHURE? I'VE GOT YOU - Multimedia Arts Brochure _____________________________________________________________ So here you are again, this time coming at me to ask for advice about brochures. No? Ah well, I'M STILL GOING TO TEACH YOU. Knowledge should be free and shared anyways. So as usual, we will be walking with basic tips and how-to's to make- THIS TIME; A brochure and with THREE easy steps. To change things up a bit, before finding your reference, it may be a better idea to research first WHAT your brochure is about. List all the things you want to include in your brochure, make sure that all the information you will put in it is accurate  by fact checking. In my example, I will be making a brochure to promote Multimedia Arts as a branch for my University.  Now the next step is, you guessed it, gather inspiration . Try to envision what you want the brochure to look like and if it fits the theme you are going for. Since mine is for Multimedia Arts,...

2nd Sem - Multimedia Logo

LET'S TALK ABOUT MAKING LOGOS, SHALL WE? - Multimedia Arts Logo _____________________________________________________________ I admit it, I find it reaaally hard to make logos and it's a struggle to even think of a concept logo. Especially without the proper inspirations. And that's why we're here as today we are going to be talking about logos and some tips in making one. First things first, just like any other article, it's recommended to find some good inspiration . What determines good inspiration would be something that is relative to your theme and vision. A theme is the main idea or concept that you will be incorporating in a design, not only in logos, but in of all kinds. Meanwhile, a vision is   something that relates to a guideline in one's mind to visualize a design. I'll be trying these references for a Multimedia Arts Logo .  references: 1st - https://www.deviantart.com/reyalty21/art/multimedia-arts-logo-2-98572930 | 2nd - https://www.faceboo...

2ND SEM - Typography Decorative Font

Image
HEY, HOW DO FONTS WORK?- The DO's and DON'Ts _____________________________________________________________ If you're here, there's only a few things I can assume as to why. Either you just simply want to expand your knowledge, or you want to know about fonts and what is effective when it comes to their uses. Whatever your aim is, I'm here to simply explain which fonts are best, specifically for public design. First off, what is the difference between Sans Serif fonts and Serif fonts?  The easiest way to spot what font belongs to which family, is the strokes on a letter. I personally call them tails, just for the simplicity of it but a proper term for it is " strokes ".  credits to: https://ittrainingcontent.iu.edu/training/crpos/files/uc/selecting-fonts-colors-layout.html Now that you know the difference of the two family fonts, when and how are they used?  Serif - These are used for the body of a text. It represents elegance, trust, seriousness, and reput...

MIDTERMS: Bonus Points

Midterms: Bonus points  Read and download sample Screenplay and script on different genre : https://www.scriptreaderpro.com/best-screenplays-to-read  Watch a historical movie of a genre you like .  1) Give your insights and comment on how they constructed the lines , dialogue in the script , how can you improve your own script writing skills?           I can definitely say that the script was clean, and very well organized. I just took the quiz for script, which is our Quiz 10, and I now clearly see how a script is constructed. Whenever there is dialogue, it is centered and italicized. It is also indented to give emphasis, I assume for the convenience of the actors and actresses. I also see that whenever there is dialogue, the action that is formed with it are in parenthesis.          In the script, it is also noted that some words are in CAPS, I believe that it is in caps because these are important notes for the di...

Image
H E L L O ~ For our midterms project, we have been tasked to do a short story, and I believe it covers our midterms to our finals for the first semester as a Sophomore.  One of our tasks in doing so, is to make a storyboard. This was made by my group mate, Ms. Ericka G, a.k.a. " AwesomeMissEricka ".  My official role will be to color the illustrations and a semi-editor for the script.  Here is our storyboard : This is the script we have made: "A Two-rrific Choice" Hello, my name is Emily, you can call me Em for short. To begin this not-so-fun story, let me tell you about my twin brother, Austin. He's definitely a weirdo, no doubt. Who thinks it's funny to put a pencil up their nose? Nobody. I, on the other hand, I'm fantastic! I’m the cooler twin among us.   Austin and I used to play hide and seek when we were both 7 years old, and being the cruel person that he is, he would leave me looking for him until I cried my eyes out and screamed. That's ...
